Job Description:

LVN:

• 1:1 with a student who is significantly disabled with a range of medical needs.
• Duties:
  • Tracheostomy suctioning as necessary to maintain airway
  • Administration of Oxygen as need to maintain airway
  • Gastrointestinal-tube feeding 2 x per school day
  • Diapering 2 to 3 x per day
  • Proximity to prevent uncoordinated gross motor falls
• The student is 5 years old and in kindergarten (specialized mod/severe program).
• The school placement is Primary School in Valley Center and the LVN hours would need to be 8-2.

Requirements:

• You must have an associate degree
• You must be certified in the state of employment to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• You must have at least one (1) year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse

Interview Process:

• 10–15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
• 20-30 Minute virtual interview directly with the school district
• Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview
