Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to students in a school environment, ensuring their health and well-being.
• Administer medications, treatments, and specialized procedures as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and assess students' health conditions and promptly respond to emergencies or medical concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized health plans for students with specific medical needs.
• Educate school staff on health-related matters and promote a safe and healthy learning environment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with school policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Current School Registered Nurse (CSN) license in California.
• Experience in pediatric, school, or community health nursing is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health assessment, treatment, and emergency protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic situations and make quick decisions in a fast-paced school setting.
