Hourly Rate: $32+

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Tech to join our team in Santa Maria. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients with various medical needs. This is a full-time position with 35 hours per week, and an hourly rate of $32 or higher depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatments
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Assist in the development of patient care plans
• Provide G-tube feeding and care
• Monitor patients with seizure disorders and take appropriate action as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid LVN/LPT license in the state of CA
• Minimum of 1-year experience working as an LVN/LPT
• Experience with G-tube feeding and care a plus
• Experience monitoring patients with seizure disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
