LVN needed in Union City, CA

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: May 24, 2024

Type: Full-Time

Hours per Week: Approximately 35

Caseload/Details:

• Providing general LVN duties.
• Supporting Diabetes management for students district-wide.
• Traveling itinerantly to provide services to students requiring care.
• Candidates with Juvenile Diabetes training are highly preferred, but training is open for those without it.

Responsibilities: The Licensed Vocational Nurse will be responsible for:

• Administering general nursing care.
• Supporting Diabetes management for students.
• Itinerantly traveling to provide nursing services to students.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals, teachers, and parents to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Needed Credentials:

• Licensed CA LVN.
• Experience working with children/adults with Diabetes is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

• Active California LVN license.
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
