Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at a top-tier healthcare facility in Mathews, North Carolina. As an OR RN, you will work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate patients prior to surgery Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans Administer medications and anesthesia as needed Monitor patients during surgery and ensure their safety and comfort Document patient care and update medical records Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements:

Valid RN license in North Carolina or Compact License Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred BLS and ACLS certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work various shifts and be on-call as needed.
