We are currently interviewing for a skilled and dedicated Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract position in Saratoga, New York. As a member of our dynamic healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in our medical-surgical unit. This contract opportunity offers flexibility with shift options of 12-hour nights or 12-hour days, allowing you to choose a schedule that suits your needs while making a positive impact on patient outcomes.

Position: Med Surg Registered Nurse (13-Week Contract) Location: Saratoga, New York Shift Options: 12-hour nights or 12-hour days

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in our medical-surgical unit, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of medical-surgical procedures and treatments.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.
