Medical Surgical Telemetry RN Opportunity in Buffalo, NY

Soliant is in need of a Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse with experience to take on an amazing 13 weeks travel assignment in Buffalo, NY. • Start date: ASAP
  Duration: 8, 10 or 13 week durations.
• Shift: 36hrs or 48hrs, 7p-730a, every other weekend & every other holiday
• Requirements:Must have 2yrs recent med/tele or PCU experience in L1 or L2 trauma hospital
  Patient Population: medical and surgical & COVID
  Special skills: Interpret telemetry monitor independently; IV infusions (ex. Insulin, heparin); Titration of cardiac drips down per order; CAPD & Highflow oxygen; Woundvacs, pleural vacs; Phlebotomy (comfortable with drawing blood, blood cultures, central lines, placing IVs, changing IV dressing, etc.)
  Tele: Must be able to monitor tele independently (no techs or centralized unit); facility uses Drager & Phillips tele units
  Ratios: 1:6-8
  Float: Will float to similar units; a unit will be assigned before orientation
  EMR: Cerner
  RTO: can request 2 days on 8wks or up to 4 days on 13wks. Blacked out dates: 12/24-1/2, 2/9-2/11, 3/29-3/31.
  Required Certs: AHA BLS
