Position Overview:

Job Type: Part Time (7:30am-1:30pm / 8am-1pm)

Duration: 2025 Summer (July 7th - July 25th)

Caseload: 1:1 / Second Grade Student

Work Setting: School-based, working closely with students, staff, and families  
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct healthcare services to students, including assessments, first aid, and medication administration

Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with medical conditions

Monitor and manage chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, and seizures within the school setting

Educate students, staff, and families on health and wellness best practices

Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to support student needs

Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations

Assist with health screenings, immunization tracking, and disease prevention efforts  
Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (required)

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Nursing (BSN or ADN) (required)

CPR and First Aid certification (required)

School nursing experience preferred but not required

Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Must Have Experience With: Pediatrics, Diabetes, Autism, and Tracheostomy.
