• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Number of Positions: 1
• Shift: 7p-730a, every other weekend, every other holida
• Details: Neuro Surgical ICU, some organ procurement patients. Must have experience with external ventricular drains (EVD), lumbar drains, craniotomies, new shunts.
  Special Skills:
• Management of EVDs, subdural drain, lumbar drains, and IRRA flow drains
• Administration and monitoring/documentation post TPA (VS q15min X2hr, q30minX6hr, Q1hrX16hr)
• IV Infusions (vasopressors, antihypertensives, etc.) Drip titration (up and down)
• Intracranial pressure monitoring and cerebral perfusion pressure monitoring
• Management of cerebral vasospasm or cerebral edema
• Post angiogram care and documentation
• Sedation for mechanically vented patients
• Ratios 1:2
• Requirements: NY License
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA NIHSS
