Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse Opportunity in Buffalo, NY

Soliant has an opportunity for a Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse in Buffalo, NY. It is a 13 week assignment at a facility in Buffalo, NY and Soliant offers great benefits! We are looking for a qualified Neuro Telemetry Medical Surgical RN, don't hesitate to apply!

Start date: ASAP
Duration: 8, 10 or 13 week durations.
Shift: 36 or 48 hours | 7p-730a, every other weekend & every other holiday
Details: Must have 2yrs recent neuro tele experience in L1 or L2 trauma hospital
Patient Population: neuromedical & neurosurgical patients; stroke & brain injury.
Special Skills: Independent interpretation of tele. IV infusions (insulin, heparin, etc),Drips & titrations (cardene, Cardizem, Dopamine); Post procedure monitoring angio (VS every 15min x4, every 30 minX2, every 1hr X2, every 4 hrx5), s/p TPA monitoring of carotid stents, sheaths, TPA 2hrs after admin, angiograms; drain management (lumbar and/or subdural); wound vacs/pleural vacs; phlebotomy (drawing blood, cultures, central lines, IVs, etc)
Tele: Must be able to monitor tele independently (no techs or centralized unit); facility uses Drager & Phillips tele units
Ratios: 1:7
Float: May float to support other tele units as needed
Required Certs: AHA BLS, NIHSS
EMR: Cerner
RTO: can request 2 days on 8wks or up to 4 days on 13wks. Blacked out dates: 12/24-1/2, 2/9-2/11, 3/29-3/31.Let's get in touch,
