Job Title: Registered Nurse - 1:1 Caseload

Blazerworks, in partnership with a renowned school district in St. Paul, MN, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of students by providing personalized healthcare support on a 1:1 caseload basis.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct healthcare services to students on a 1:1 caseload basis, ensuring their safety, well-being, and optimal health during school hours.
- Assess and monitor students' health conditions, administer medication, and perform necessary medical procedures in accordance with the established protocols and individual healthcare plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive healthcare plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of assessments, interventions, and communication with parents/guardians and healthcare providers.
- Educate students, parents/guardians, and staff on health-related topics, including prevention, hygiene, and management of chronic conditions.
- Respond to medical emergencies, provide immediate care, and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to nursing practice in an educational setting.

Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of various health conditions, medications, and medical procedures.
- Ability to assess, evaluate, and respond to students' healthcare needs in a timely and effective manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents/guardians, teachers, and healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitivity and empathy.
- Current CPR certification.
