Blazerworks is working with Tigard Tualatin School District to find a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our schools. The position is full-time and year-round. Location:  Tigard, Oregon
Job Information:

  • Full Time position: 35 Hours
  • Caseload: Elementary 1:1

    Duties:

  • Supporting a Kindergarten Student at Durham Elementary in need of 1:1 nursing support
  • Needs support from home, on the bus, to school and back from 7:30 - 2:30
  • Trach suctioning ,help with walking, manage seizure activity which may require use of an Ambu bag, g-tube placement if needed
  • possible diapering
  • Vision Screening, Storing & Administering medication for Diabetic students
  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.

    Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
  • Certification: Current and valid state Practical Nurse (LPN) License
  • Must have Vision Screening Experience
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • School experience is preferred
