Now Hiring: Full-Time School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) Louisville, KY

Location: Louisville, KY

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Caseload: K–12 students

School Year: 2025–2026

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing services, including routine and emergency care, to students in accordance with school policies and health regulations

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Monitor and manage chronic health conditions and develop Individualized Health Plans (IHPs)

Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines

Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student wellness and academic participation

Promote health education and awareness among students and staff

Requirements:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky

Current CPR/First Aid certification

Prior experience working with children or in a school-based setting preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills

Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
