Nurse Opening - LVN - School Setting

We are working with a school in Santa Rosa, CA, currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of students across multiple school sites in the area.

Job Description: As an LVN in this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the health and safety of students within our schools. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing nursing care to students
• Support the nurse at that campus
• Assessing and triaging students' health concerns and emergencies.
• Maintaining accurate health records for students.
• Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to promote student wellness.
• Adhering to all relevant healthcare protocols and regulations.

Qualifications: To be successful in this position, you should meet the following qualifications:

• Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• CPR certification.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to float to different school sites within Santa Rosa, CA.
