Oncology Registered Nurse - Travel Job in Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients with cancer and hematological disorders.
• Develop and implement care plans based on patient's diagnosis, treatment plan and medical history.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other prescribed treatments.
• Provide supportive care and asses cancer-related symptoms, discomfort and pain.
• Educate patients and their families about the disease, treatment options, potential side effects, and self-care strategies.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to help patients cope with the challenges of cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Work Hours:

• Day Shift
• Weekdays
• 4x10 hour shifts (variable starts: 7:30AM, 8AM or 8:30PM)
• No weekends or holidays
• 13 week assignment length

Qualifications and Education:

• Texas RN Licensure
• Diploma in Nursing
• ACLS, BLS
• 2+ years of experience
