#### Schedule:
- **Shifts:** 4 x 10-hour shifts
- **Hours:** 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- **On-call Requirement:** None

#### Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team on a contract basis in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The OR RN will work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

#### Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery by ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and available.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans for patients undergoing surgery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, assess patient condition before, during, and after surgery, and provide appropriate care and intervention as needed.
- Coordinate with surgical team members to ensure seamless and efficient operations during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documenting care provided and any changes in patient condition.
- Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay current with best practices and new technologies in perioperative nursing.

#### Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
