Registered Nurse (RN) - PICU | Contract Opportunity

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with PICU experience to join a high-performing team in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in patient care coordination, evidence-based practices, and adaptability to meet the demands of a multifaceted healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.

Develop and coordinate personalized care plans for pediatric patients.

Provide therapeutic interventions and manage acute care for critically ill patients.

Float as needed across various units, including Mother/Baby and Pediatric ED. In adult units, responsibilities will include providing support as a PCT or resource nurse.

Serve as an advocate for patient-centered care and evidence-based practices.

Ensure detailed and accurate documentation following clinical priorities and care standards.

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Commitment to floating as per facility needs, with a willingness to support adult floors as a resource.

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and collaborative skills.
