Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an Operating Room RN, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients. The ideal candidate is experienced in handling both routine and complex cases in a fast-paced environment.

- Preparing the operating room by ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available
- Assisting with patient positioning and ensuring their safety
- Monitoring the patient's vital signs throughout the surgical procedure
- Assisting the surgical team during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment
- Administering medications as directed by the medical team
- Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and taking appropriate actions
- Providing post-operative care, including monitoring vitals and assessing the patient's condition
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN
- Excellent knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment
- Strong ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with surgical team members
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations in the operating room
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
