Operating Room Technologists - Bethpage, New York - 13 Weeks - 40 Hours - Travel Contract

Position: Certified Surgical Tech

Unit: Operating Room

Location: Bethpage, NY

There is a Level I Trauma facility in southern New York actively interviewing for an experienced Certified Surgical Tech (CST). This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extending. Assignment Details:

• 13 Weeks
• Mid Shift
• 40 hours per week
  • 11AM-7PM
• Some Call
• Possible extension based on performance

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Degree from a Surgical Technology program preferred but not required
• BLS
• NBSTSA

Required for Interview:

• Current Professional Resume
• Clinical References
• 2 recent years of experience on the unit
  • Ortho, Neuro, Robot, GYN, and Thoracic

Job Duties

• Set up and break down Sterile Field
• Perform an accurate instrument count
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon
• Communicate needs with O.R team
