PACU RN - Houston, TX - Registered Nurse

Position: Registered Nurse

Unit: PACU

Location: Houston, TX

There is a medical facility in Houston, TX actively interviewing for an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN). This is a 13 week assignment with the possibility of extending. Assignment Details:

• 13 weeks 
• 12 hour days or mids 
• Possible extension based on performance
• Electronic Charting
• Traveler friendly hospital 

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate Degree or higher from an accredited nursing
• BLS/ACLS
• TX or Compact RN License 

Required for Interview:

• Current Professional Resume
• Clinical References
• 2 recent years of experience on the unit

Job Duties

• Monitor patient post surgery 
• Monitor surgery site 
• Recognize signs of a reaction to anesthesia
• Recognize signs of distress or discomfort
