PACU RN - Travel Nurse Assignment - Days - Houston, TX

Position: Registered Nurse   

Unit: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit    

Location: Houston, TX

There is a facility in Houston, TX actively interviewing for an experienced Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN). This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extending. Assignment Details:

• 13 Weeks
• Days
• 36 hours per week  
• Possible extension based on performance
• Electronic Charting

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Degree from an accredited Nursing Program
• BLS/ACLS
• TX or Compact RN License 

Required for Interview:

• Current Professional Resume
• Clinical References
• 2 recent years of experience on the unit

Job Duties

• Monitor patient after sedation
• Monitor and record vitals
• Monitor surgical site
• Communicate MD orders
• Provide discharge instructions
