Part-Time School Nursing Position - Spring Lake Park, MN

Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a part-time School Nurse for the remainder of the school year with a possible extension for the 2023 and 2024 school year. The School Nurse will work 1 to 1 with a student and will be required to ride the bus. The hours are 9:00 am to 12:30 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Salary:

• $28 - $40 per hour (pending experience, credentials, and school budget)

Responsibilities:

• Provide healthcare services to the student in accordance with state laws and regulations
• Administer medication as prescribed by the student's healthcare provider
• Monitor the student's health status and provide appropriate interventions as necessary
• Develop and implement healthcare plans for the student
• Communicate with the student's healthcare provider, school staff, and parents/guardians as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date healthcare records
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Requirements:

• Must have a valid School Nurse license in the state of Minnesota
• Prior experience as a School Nurse preferred
• Must be able to ride the bus to and from school
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
