Registered Nurse (RN)

1 position for a day Pre-K classroom and 1 emotionally disturbed elementary classroom

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate Registered School Nurse (RN) to join our team for the remainder of the current school year. The RN will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to a student in need of medical care.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care and support to a student on a one-on-one basis
• Assess, monitor, and document the student's health status and progress
• Administer medication and treatment as prescribed by the student's physician
• Develop and maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with the student's family, teachers, and other members of the school team

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of California
• Minimum of two years of experience working as an RN in a healthcare setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
