Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a 1:1 School Nurse for a high school student. This is a full-time, contract position that requires the nurse to work closely with the student throughout the school day and provide care while riding the bus to and from school.

Responsibilities:

Provide personalized, 1:1 nursing care to a high school student throughout the school day.

Administer medications, perform health assessments, and respond to medical emergencies.

Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement an individualized healthcare plan for the student.

Ensure the student’s health and safety are maintained during transportation (bus riding to and from school).

Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and communicate any medical concerns to parents/guardians and school administration.

Act as a liaison between the student’s family and the school regarding any medical needs or concerns.

Ensure that the student’s medical equipment, if necessary, is used properly and effectively.

Requirements:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license

School nurse experience is preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to be flexible and adapt to the student’s unique medical needs.

Must be comfortable riding the bus with the student to and from school.

Must be able to pass a background check.
