Blazer Jobs is thrilled to partner with a school district near Mill Valley, CA, to seek a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide crucial nursing care and support within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Health Care: Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including administering medications, managing chronic health conditions, and addressing minor injuries or illnesses.
  • Health Assessments: Perform routine health assessments and screenings to support and monitor students' overall health and well-being.
  • Emergency Response: Handle medical emergencies by providing first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to create and implement individualized health care plans and ensure effective communication regarding students' health needs.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain precise and confidential health records, documenting medical treatments, medications, and health status updates.
  • Health Education: Educate students and staff about health practices, wellness, and safety procedures.

    Qualifications:

  • Licensure and Certifications: Must hold a valid RN license in California. (Ensure compliance with California’s specific licensure requirements.)
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred. Familiarity with school health protocols and emergency procedures is beneficial.
