Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) 

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position within school districts in the Pittsfield, Massachusetts area. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated nurse to provide exceptional care and support to students, ensuring their health and safety throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to students, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing chronic health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with specific medical needs.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to coordinate student care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all students.
  • Conduct health screenings and immunization compliance checks.
  • Educate students and staff on health-related topics and promote a healthy school environment.

    Requirements:

  • Valid LPN or RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric patients is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of state and local health regulations and guidelines for school health services.
