Job Title: Full-Time School Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities:

Provide direct healthcare services to students, including assessment, intervention, and follow-up for illness and injuries
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
Develop and implement health plans for students with chronic health conditions
Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records for students
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support the overall well-being of students
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid care as needed
Promote a healthy school environment through health education and preventive health measures
Stay current on health trends, issues, and best practices in school health nursing
Participate in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings as needed
Qualifications:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Hampshire
Experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred but not required
CPR and first aid certification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Knowledge of state and federal laws related to school health services
Commitment to promoting the health and well-being of students
