Schedule/Hours:

  • Start dates available on Tuesdays

    • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license required
  • MS Oncology experience necessary
  • Current ACLS certification (must be obtained prior to start)
  • Valid Chemo Certification (must be obtained prior to start)
  • Demonstrated expertise in oncology nursing, including chemotherapy administration and monitoring
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills

    • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer chemotherapy and implement oncology-specific care plans under physician direction
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment, promptly addressing any adverse reactions
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, side effects, symptom management, and support resources
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
  • Document patient progress, medication administration, and critical events accurately in the medical record system
  • Uphold safety standards and infection control procedures in all aspects of patient care
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives
