Registered Nurse - ProCare Therapy 2023-2024 School Year

ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of healthcare staffing solutions, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in the La Habra, CA area. If you are an experienced and dedicated RN with a passion for school nursing, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general nursing duties in a school setting
• Promote and maintain the health and well-being of students
• Administer medications, perform health screenings, and provide first aid
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and updated medical records

Position Details:

• Duration: 2023-2024 school year
• Full-time position: 40 hours per week
• Responsibilities include general nursing duties in a school environment
• Candidates with schools experience will be given preference
• Candidate must have a school nursing credential or hold a BSN and be willing to apply for the credential

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license
• Previous experience in a school nursing role is highly preferred
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Compensation: The hourly pay for this contract position will range from $40 to $48, depending on experience, credentials, and budget.
