We are currently seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract position in Glens Falls, New York. As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will provide specialized care to patients in our telemetry unit, monitoring and interpreting their cardiac rhythms. This contract opportunity offers a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit, ensuring accurate monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and implement appropriate interventions based on patient needs and telemetry findings.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient conditions and changes in telemetry readings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in a telemetry unit.
• Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Proficient knowledge of telemetry monitoring and interpretation of cardiac rhythms.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
