ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate registered nurse (RN) to join our client school district as a school nurse in the Salem, Oregon area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting the health and well-being of students, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.

This position includes relocation assistance for qualified candidates who live outside of the Salem area.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments and screenings for students
• Develop and implement health care plans for students with chronic health conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for students
• Provide health education and counseling to students, families, and staff
• Collaborate with school personnel and community healthcare providers to promote student health and wellness
• Participate in the development and implementation of school health policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Valid Oregon Registered Nurse license or ability to obtain one
• Experience working with pediatric patients in a healthcare setting
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to school nursing
