School 1:1 RN Position Now Available

Blazer Jobs has collaborated with a school district in Liberty, MO, to seek a dedicated 1:1 Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate is a compassionate medical professional prepared to give individualized care to a specific student within the school setting, ensuring their medical and health needs are consistently addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to a designated student during school hours.
• Administer medications, conduct health checks, and perform necessary medical procedures as prescribed.
• Work closely with the school staff, parents, and other medical professionals to ensure the student's health, safety, and well-being.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the student s Individual Healthcare Plan (IHP).
• Respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring necessary care and proper protocols are followed.
• Document medical care provided, monitor student's progress, and communicate any health-related issues or concerns to relevant parties.
• Attend school field trips or activities as needed to provide care for the student.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Pediatric or school-based nursing experience is a plus.
• Ability to work compassionately and efficiently in a school environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to maintain the privacy and dignity of the student.
