Blazer Jobs is excited to partner with a school district near Eugene, OR, to hire a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time position. This role provides a meaningful opportunity to deliver essential nursing care and support to students in a school environment.

Position Overview:

  • Role: School LPN

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Health Care: Administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and address minor injuries or illnesses for students.
  • Health Assessments: Conduct health screenings and assessments to ensure students' well-being and identify potential health concerns.
  • Emergency Response: Provide first aid and CPR, and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to create and implement individualized health care plans and ensure effective communication regarding students' health needs.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including documentation of medical treatments, medications administered, and health updates.
  • Health Education: Educate students and staff about health practices, wellness, and safety protocols.

    Qualifications:

  • Licensure and Certifications: Must hold a valid LPN license in Oregon. (Please ensure you meet Oregon’s specific licensure requirements.)
  • Experience: Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred. Familiarity with school health protocols and emergency procedures is advantageous.
