School-Based Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Union City, CA to work in a school-based setting. As a vital member of the school healthcare team, the LVN will play a crucial role in supporting the well-being of students and promoting a healthy and safe school environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to students in accordance with state regulations and school policies
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Monitor and assess the health status of students
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and parents to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records
Requirements:
  • Valid and active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of state health regulations and school health policies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Interview Process:
  • (10-15) minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • (20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
