Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Location: West Austin, TX - School Setting

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer routine medications and treatments to students according to physician's orders and established protocols.
• Monitor student health and provide immediate care for injuries or illnesses that occur during school hours.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure the well-being of students with medical needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each student.
• Assist with health screenings and health education programs.
• Adhere to school health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas LVN license.
• Compassion and patience when working with children and adolescents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies and provide prompt and appropriate care.
• Previous experience in a school setting or pediatrics is a plus.
