Job Title: School-Based Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Mill Creek, WA Area

School Year: 2024-2025

Employment Type: Part-Time (24 Hours/Week), Onsite

Pay Scale: $37-50/hour

Caseload(s): Grades 9-12

Schedule: 6:50 AM - 2:30 PM, Wednesday through Friday

Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nurse license in Washington

Experience working as a nurse in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting (experience in an educational setting preferred).

Experience with disability accommodations (i.e. tracheostomy, ADL management, and seizure management accommodations) preferred

Strong clinical skills, including first aid, medication administration, and assessment of common childhood illnesses and injuries.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff members.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Must be comfortable riding the bus to/from school with students

Responsibilities:

Assess and respond to students' health concerns, injuries, and illnesses promptly, providing appropriate care and referrals as needed.

Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs, in collaboration with parents/guardians and other healthcare providers.

Maintain accurate and confidential health records, including immunization records, health assessments, and documentation of healthcare services provided.

Educate students, parents, and staff on health-related topics, including preventive care, hygiene practices, and emergency procedures.

Provide accommodations for students with disabilities as needed per school's requirements

Ride the bus to and from school and/or field trips as needed
