Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? Procare Therapy is currently seeking a skilled RN to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year in Ventura, CA. As a school-based RN, you will play a crucial role in providing essential healthcare services to students, ensuring their well-being and promoting a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency response.
• Assess and manage students' health conditions, including chronic illnesses and disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specialized needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to promote a healthy and safe school environment.
• Educate students, families, and staff on health-related topics, including preventive measures and self-care techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and school policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' healthcare needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is highly desirable.
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Knowledge of relevant state and federal healthcare regulations.

Contract Details:

• Employment Type: Full-time (Hourly)
• Duration: 2023-2024 school year
