Job Description:

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate CSN join our team at a school district near Buffalo Grove, IL. The School CSN will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our students. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young individuals within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a CSN, you will be a larger part of our team to assist in the evaluation of students in special education, communicate with outside health providers for our more medically involved students, and help cover in the health offices when needed.

     

    Qualifications:

  • Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) 
  • Previous experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred.
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Knowledge of state regulations pertaining to school health services preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
