School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job

Quakertown, PA: A school district in the area is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse to provide support in the health room. The LPN will work with all ages K-12. This position is full time, working 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.

School LPN Responsibilities
- Provides care for injuries and acute illness for all students and long-term management of students with special health care needs.
- Ensures that the student's individualized health care plan is part of the individualized education plan, when appropriate, and that both plans are developed and implemented with full team participation, which includes the student, family, and pediatrician.
- Medication administration
- Health screening and Assessments 
- Contacting parents
-  Trachs
- Ventilators
- G-tubes
- Seizure care
- Diabetic care

Qualifications:

- Current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Experience with trachs, ventilators, g-tubes, seizure care
