Position: School Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Angola, NY
Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Full-Time
Pay: $35-37/hr based on experience | Weekly Pay

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a reputable school district in Angola, NY. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work closely with students, staff, and parents, ensuring the health and safety of children during the school day.

As the School LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to students. This includes managing both chronic health conditions and urgent medical needs, ensuring that students are safe and supported while at school. You will be working with students who may require specialized medical attention, such as medication administration, tube feedings, and assistance with mobility or toileting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor the ongoing health and wellness of students, addressing routine health concerns and responding to medical emergencies.
  • Assist with individualized care plans, including procedures such as tube feeding, toileting, and mobility support for students with special medical needs.
  • Provide health education and communicate with parents, caregivers, and school staff to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student health records and ensure compliance with school health policies.

    Qualifications:

  • Active New York LPN License.
  • Prior experience in a pediatric, school, or similar setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Ability to handle both routine and emergency medical situations calmly and professionally.
