We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a middle school in Forest Lake, MN. As an LPN in the school setting, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of our students. Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and assistance to students with various health needs, including medication administration, treatments, and first aid.
• Collaborate with the school nurse, teachers, and other staff members to develop and implement individualized health plans for students with chronic conditions.
• Monitor and assess the health status of students, identifying any changes or concerns that may require immediate attention.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for students, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Educate students, families, and staff on health-related topics, promoting wellness and injury prevention.
• Act as a liaison between the school, families, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN license in the state of Minnesota.
• Experience working as an LPN in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, and staff members.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
• Knowledge of relevant health regulations and protocols.
