Sunbelt is currently hiring for a  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity at a school in Olympia, Washington area. We've partnered with an incredibly supportive district that is looking for someone to fill a currently open need as soon as possible for this current school year. 

Job specifics:

  • Full-time
  • 40 hours per week
  • 1:1 Caseload
  • Bus Transportation & Classroom Support

    Requirements:

  • State of Washington LPN License 
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification  
  • Prior pediatrics or school experience highly preferred

    Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor special education students regularly for health needs.
  • Support students within the classroom.
  • Attend monthly nursing meetings.
  • Assist with academic and vocational programs.
  •  Help with daily living activities.
  •  Report medical issues to the campus nurse.
  • Administer medication and treatments per plans/IEPs.
  •  Aid in student feeding.
  •  Provide health-related recommendations.
  • Use technology or devices to assist students.
  •  Conduct health screenings as needed.
  •  Assist in emergencies or injuries.
