School Nurse (BSN -RN) Contract Job

Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with the esteemed school district in Tampa, FL, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a School Nurse. As a vital member of the school community, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct healthcare services to students and staff
• Assess and manage health concerns and emergencies
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to promote a healthy school environment
• Maintain accurate health records for students
• Conduct health screenings and immunization compliance checks
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
