School Nurse (LPN)

Soliant is seeking a School Nurse to join our team and ensure the health and well-being of our students and staff. As a School Nurse , you will play a crucial role in promoting a safe and nurturing environment that supports student success.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments to students as prescribed, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• Assess and monitor students' health conditions, responding promptly to any medical concerns or emergencies.
• Provide first aid and basic medical care to students and staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students.
• Collaborate with the school's healthcare team, including the school nurse and other professionals, to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with specific medical needs.
• Conduct health screenings and immunization reviews.
• Promote health and wellness through educational programs and initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid and current LPN license in the state of Georgia.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to student well-being.
