Job Title: 1:1 School Nurse
Location: Gages Lake, IL

Position Overview:
We are seeking a caring and experienced 1:1 School Nurse to provide personalized medical care and support for a student in Gages Lake, IL. In this role, you will ensure the student’s safety, health, and ability to participate in school activities throughout the day. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by offering compassionate and skilled nursing care within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 medical care and supervision for a student with specific health needs throughout the school day.

Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures in accordance with the student’s care plan.

Monitor the student’s health and respond appropriately to any medical emergencies or changes in condition.

Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and healthcare professionals to support the student’s academic and social participation.

Maintain accurate and confidential health records, documenting daily care and any incidents.

Communicate regularly with the student’s family and healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

Active RN license in the state of Illinois.

Experience in school nursing required

Strong clinical skills, including the ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school staff.
