School Nurse Needed | San Jose, CA area

Soliant is currently looking for a licensed vocational nurse near San Jose, California to assist a school district in a 1:1 position. This is a full-time contract opportunity for the 2023-2024 school year. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with students with special needs and be able to provide quality care and support.

Some of the responsibilities of this position include:

• Providing nursing services to a student with complex medical needs
• Monitoring and documenting the student s health status and progress
• Collaborating with the school staff, parents, and medical providers
• Following the student s individualized health plan and emergency protocols
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• A valid California LVN license
• A current CPR certification
• A negative TB test or chest x-ray
• A clear background check and drug screen
• Reliable transportation and availability to work during school hours
• $35-41/hr
