School Nurse Positions (RN)

Looking for RN's with experience in pediatrics. A school district near Westchester, IL is looking to add multiple school nurses to their team. 

Job Details

• Full-time, 40 hours/week 
• Not required but bilingual preferred (English & Spanish)
• ASAP to 6/3/21
• Shift: 7:30a-3:30p Mon-Fri
• Grade levels: Prek-8th depending on campus assignment
• Assigned to 1 campus. May need to help cover another building if needed
• Software/System: PowerSchool Special Program

Primary Duties

• Checking students to address health needs
• Support students with symptoms
• Follow directives provided by building and district Administrator
• Follow-up with families to update student info
• Gather records for immunizations & physicals
• Regularly check COVID screener

• Requirements

• Must be an Illinois licensed RN (Registered Nurse) or CSN (Certified School Nurse). No LPNs at this time
• BSN NOT required (Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing)
