This role offers the flexibility of working either full-time or part-time hours during the entire school year. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing healthcare services and support to students in an elementary or middle school setting. Responsibilities:

• Provide healthcare services to students, including medication administration, first aid, and managing chronic health conditions.
• Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify student health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) for students with specific medical requirements.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure students' health needs are met.
• Maintain accurate and organized health records for students.
• Promote health and wellness education among students and staff.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations and school policies regarding healthcare services in educational settings.
• Maintain a clean and organized school health office.

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with students of various ages and backgrounds.

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to school nursing.
