Full-time 1:1 Registered Nurse for Contract Position through ProCare Therapy in Halifax, North Carolina

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse for a full-time 1:1 contract position at a school in Halifax, North Carolina. This position will be for the remainder of the current school year with the possibility of continuing into the next school year.

Responsibilities:

• Providing direct nursing care to a student with medical needs on a 1:1 basis
• Student does have aggressive behaviors
• Administering medication, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the student's physician
• Communicating with parents, physicians, and school staff to ensure the student's health care needs are met
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina
• Minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school staff and parents
• Strong communication and organizational skills
