School Nurse (RN/LPN/LVN) Opportunity Fairlawn, NJ
A school in the Fairlawn, NJ area is interviewing for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to fulfill an open School Nurse position. This position would start ASAP, finish out the rest of this school year, with an option to renew and return for the 23-24 full school year. Candidates must meet the requirements below to be considered.

Assignment Specifics:

• Full-time Daily hours are approximately 8:00am to 3:30pm
• Monday Friday
• Work 1:1 with a medically fragile kindergarten student who is wheelchair bound and has a trach.

Caseload:

• General education student
• Assist student with medical needs.
• Administer medications as needed.
• General school nurse duties

Position Requirements:

• Updated resume, professional references
• Must have active NJ RN or LPN/LVN License
• Must have trach care license, previous experience and independent with providing trach care to children.
• Must have CPR Certification
• Must be comfortable with toileting.
• Must be willing to ride the bus with student to and from school.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be willing to ride the bus with student.
